Who is making a robust laptop these days?

    My wife has a Gaeway MX7515. It's almost a year old, but if you can get your hands on one, its worth it. 754 Athlon 64 4000 Mobile, Radeon 200m chipset, (yes it oc's with the proper bios update) ATI x600 graphics, 1 gig of ram. It weighs 8 lbs w/ the 17 in wide screen, but its a helluva gamer, and faster than my 939 3700 desktop.

    Lenovo makes one series that is about indestructable.

      If by robust you mean durable, get a Panasonic toughbook. Uncle sam gave me one to use for a while and it was awesome. I'm nota computer guy so I can't speak to performance specs, but it seemed to run as well as a pretty new desktop I have at home, and you can throw it off a building with no worries.
